Ravichandran, Chief Marketing Officer of Malindo Air, speaking at a meeting organised in Visakhapatnam on Monday in connection with the launch of Vizag - Kuala Lumpur flight.

On Sunday late night Malindo Air launched its direct flight from Visakhapatnam to Kuala Lumpur. MP Kambampati Haribabu said Visakhapatnam was poised for growth in three areas: tourism, pharma industry and marine products (sea food) exports. Malindo Air could also play a role in promoting the places of tourist interest in and around Visakhapatnam apart from marketing their own tourist potential to the people of the region. Silk Air has already offered to lift sea food exports to Japan and Malindo Air could also explore the possibility.
